Our Journey
Studio 3b® Curtains started small but had big dreams. Co-founders Susan James and Thomas Bell had a vision to make designer-quality window treatments affordable and accessible for all.
They believed everyone deserved to easily upgrade their home’s style without breaking the bank. With a starting inventory of just 50 SKUs, Studio 3b® Curtains launched its ecommerce store in 2015 and began welcoming its first customers.
We started out servicing the Nashville, TN area where our headquarters remains today. But word spread quickly about our wide selection of budget-friendly curtains and unmatched customer support.
Within two years, Studio 3b® expanded into a nationwide online retailer shipping to customers across the U.S. Our growth has only accelerated from there. Some key milestones over the past 7 years include:
- 2018: Launched our proprietary custom curtain wizard allowing customers to self-design curtains based on exact window measurements and style preferences. This remains one of our most popular services.
- 2019: Expanded our product catalog to over 2,000 SKUs including curtain panels, valances, sheers, swags, tension rods, and curtain hardware.
